Trikora Coast In The Riau Province

BINTAN ISLAND in Riau Province of Indonesia, there are many attractions, both natural tourism, cultural, historical and religious tours. One many attractions is the beach Trikora. This beach is located in the village of Malang Meetings, District of Mount Kijang, about 45 kilometers to east of the City Tanjungpinang. To be able to reach the beach location Trikora, the city is relatively easy because Tanjungpinang road conditions are relatively smooth (already on the asphalt).

Tanjungpinang until the border of Bintan regency good paved road and can pass three or four rows of cars. However, starting from the border of Mount Kijang toward the coast Trikora, the road conditions become narrower and only enough for two lanes of vehicles only. For the record, there is no public transport serving the route to the Coast Trikora. So, if going to the beach, can use a private vehicle or rental.

Trikora the coast about 25 kilometers in length has beautiful scenery. Along the white sandy beaches lined thousands of coconut trees and other trees (mangroves). In addition, around the coast there are also large rocks that add to the beauty of the beach. Visitors to the beach to sunbathe or fishing often use the stones.

In some parts of the coast Trikora many vendor stalls drinks, food and small huts for accommodations. In front of the store in the shoreline look the islands some of which are small and uninhabited. Meanwhile, in the middle of the sea there are many wooden kelong with sago palm leaf roof, which serves as a tool to catch fish or bleary.

Trikora beach could be an alternative attraction is no less beautiful than the Bintan Beach Resort is a tourist resort of international class in NEWLANDS, North Bintan district is about 40 miles from the coast Trikora. However, because its management is still to be "traditional", the beach Trikora until now only visited by people from Bintan Island and surrounding areas only.

  6. Riau Province occupies the central part of eastern region on Sumatra Island, which straddles between Malacca Straits, South China Sea and Berhala Straits. The Province is a strategic region as it directly faces Malacca Straits and Singapore, one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.
