We were fortunate enough to have a beach casitta, which stood only a short path away from what was almost our own personal beach, and what a beach. Imagine blindingly white sand seemingly stretching forever, backed by the loveliest shades of turquoise and faded blue and green sea. I believed I'd seen the best beaches in the world in the Seychelles "not so!
The casita has wall to wall glass, so the views of the sea are definitely beautiful.There is a kingsized bed, a huge lavatory with dressing area, separate shower and tub, all just the very best. Outside there's a huge sun deck with two day beds and a hammock, and all completely personal. You are able to add to this the most exquisite cotton robe for relaxing in, amazing fluffy towels, toiletries, and fresh fruit every day.
After all that it comes as barely a surprise to find out that the food was another feature of Ananpulo. There's an a la carte menu, daily specials, and actually, whatever it is you want the chef will cook, and you can eat anywhere virtually at any point. A gastronomic paradise!! Particularly prominent was the beach club paella, and the BBQs
This isn't a resort for folk who need to be entertained, with many activity being on or under the water, and then of course there is the beach!! Everything about Amanpulo Pamalican Island screams quality, from the service to the ambience, the accommodation, and the food. This has to be one of, if not the most lovely settings in the Philippines.
